They may not be appearing on New York roadways right away but the Alliance Defense Fund has won a round in the 7-year-old battle to allow motorists to get Choose Life specialty license plates on their vehicles.New York State’s Dept. of Motor Vehicles blocked the plates, saying they didn’t want to be involved in the debate over abortion. The plates along with the slogan Choose Life is generally identified with abortion opponents and those who favor adoption instead.
