Adoption Training

  1. Front-line Staff and Advocates—3-Hour Adoption Training must be completed at any time during each calendar year. A copy of the current Annual Certification of Training is a required document in the Application and Renewal process which must be submitted by December 15. This is to enable your front-line personnel to accurately and graciously present the adoption option.

  2. Executive Director and/or Client Services Director—3-Hour Adoption Training is mandatory only for new directors who have not previously completed the training in the past two years. Already-trained directors are always welcome to attend, if they wish. All directors are to meet with the adoption trainer for a brief appointment when she trains their front-line personnel each year.

  3. Your center will schedule training annually with one of the approved Adoption Trainers listed below. Training any time this year qualifies your center for renewal for participation in Choose Life funds next year. Please plan ahead to allow time for them to accommodate your need to certify well before the renewal deadline each December.
